52 Blue is a new family musical inspired by the 52 Hertz whale singing in a different frequency than other species. This multi-disciplinary show combines real scientific discoveries about how marine mammals sense and communicate. Through storytelling, music, song, movement, and oceanic soundscape, audiences meet different species and their unique ways of living — from humpback whales’ shared “pop songs” to orcas that can “see with sound”. By bringing our closest ocean kin to life, 52 Blue invites families to feel curiosity, empathy, and a deeper connection to the natural world, inspiring care for the oceans we share.
